I used to beat myself up because brushing my teeth felt like climbing a mountain.
My brain would loop anxious thoughts for hours while everyone else moved effortlessly.
Then my therapist said those small tasks you complete count triple when your brain works
against you. Getting out of bed when depression whispers stay down, that is warrior
level strength. I started celebrating weird wins. Made toast today, incredible.
