Why I Stopped Going to Parties

Everyone keeps asking why I don’t go to parties anymore. So… this is why. At Ryan’s place,

I bumped into a guy and spilled his drink. He slammed me into the fridge and started

swinging. Someone pulled him off, and I thought it was over.

Then another guy grabbed me in the hallway and smashed my head into the wall.

I ran and locked myself in the bathroom, shaking. The door opened anyway.

Third guy came in laughing, like it was funny. I ran outside. Thought I was safe.

Then I saw the fourth guy by the fence, just watching me. When he started walking toward me,

slow and calm, I ran all the way home. Nobody talked about it after.
