loan. But let's break down what actually happened here because the numbers tell
a completely different story. JPS originally said they needed $350M for restoration.
The government offered a $150M loan, leaving a $200M gap. Then suddenly,
Daryl Vaz found $50M at the OUR, claiming this magically reduced JPS's needs to just $150M.
But here's the problem: in his own parliamentary submission he said The Emergency Disaster Fund had been exhausted by Beryl
