The Return of Pancho Vega

The most terrifying man they know is coming back, and they're smiling. In a desolate,

dying town, La Manuela, an aging dancer, and his daughter, La Japonesita,

run a brothel. A year ago, the brutish truck driver Pancho Vega assaulted Manuela

and tore his beloved Spanish dress. Now, he's been warned to stay away.

But tonight, they hear his truck horn blaring through the darkness, getting closer and

closer. He's coming for them. Instead of hiding, they stand in the

dark. The daughter, who fantasizes about violence to finally feel something,

has a smile on her face. And so does her father.
