Understanding ADHD: An Epidemiological Perspective

Hello, my name is Ethan Kendrick. Welcome to my presentation on ADHD (from an

epidemiological perspective) for SOC 3673. I was originally going to present

this information as a PowerPoint, but given the subject matter, I thought it might

be more fitting to format it as an Instagram Reel, complete with the robotic voice and

Minecraft gameplay. To start with an overview, ADHD stands for attention-deficit

hyperactivity disorder. The name itself gives you a pretty good idea what the conditions of the

symptom are. The DSM-5, which is the main psychiatric handbook used in the United

States, splits ADHD symptoms into inattention, hyperactivity, and impulsivity.
