To make a video from your kid's favorite song with Revid, click Create in the sidebar, choose the From music tab, upload the song (MP3, WAV or a Suno link), pick a media type and ratio, then click Generate video. Revid builds beat-synced scenes around the music, and you can fix any scene in the editor before sharing.
Two choices decide whether your child asks to watch it again or shrugs: the look of the scenes and where the video ends up. A bright, rounded cartoon style keeps a kids' song feeling like a storybook. A public post with a commercial recording can get the whole video blocked, while the same file sent to grandma is fine.

What you need before you start
- The song as an MP3 or WAV file, or a Suno link (Revid also has a Suno to video converter if the song came from Suno).

- A decision on the screen: phone or TV. It sets the ratio in Step 3.
Step 1: Pick the song that gets them singing

Step 2: Open From music and add the song
- Click Create at the top of the left sidebar (or press C on your keyboard). The page asks "What do you want to make?"
- Click the From music tab in the row of options (Remix video or ad, From an idea, From music, Motion graphics, From script, Single image / clip, More tools).
- Upload the song file, or paste the Suno link.

Step 3: Choose the look: media type and ratio
Under Choose media type, pick what illustrates the song. Here is how each option fits a kids' song:

A simple rule: start with Animated AI images. Switch to AI video only if the song is about movement and you are happy to spend more credits; premium AI video models cost 100 to 500 credits per 5 seconds of video.
Then set the ratio in the picker on the right:
- 9:16 if the video will be watched on phones or posted to TikTok, Reels or Shorts.
- 16:9 if you will play it on the TV at a birthday or movie night.
- 1:1 or 4:5 for a family group chat or a feed post.
Aim for a bright, rounded cartoon style: the example's Pixar-like 3D look suits most kids' songs. If a scene comes out too realistic or too dark, you can regenerate it in the editor with style words from this table (Step 5):

Step 4: Check the cost and generate
Before you click, look at Estimated cost at the bottom right: it shows how many credits the video will use with your current settings. Changing the media type or the model changes the number, so this is the place to compare options.
Click Generate video. Animated AI images render faster than AI video scenes, which can take a few minutes. If a build fails, Revid refunds its credits automatically.
Step 5: Fix any scene, export and share
Open the finished project from Videos in the sidebar (click its card to open it in the editor). Watch it once with your child, then fix what they don't like:
- Swap a scene's picture: select the image clip on the timeline and click Replace to pick another file, or use Regenerate/Edit image (tabs "Regenerate image" and "Edit existing image") with style words from the table above.
- Redo an AI video scene: select the clip and use Regenerate from prompt (Re-animate, New image + video, or Edit with AI).
- Trim: drag a clip's edge on the timeline, or split it at the playhead with S.
- Adjust the captions: open Captions in the left rail.
When it's right, click Export in the top right ("Export / Publish" on free accounts). Revid exports in 720p, 1080p or 4K, so the video holds up on a TV. Then share it the way that fits:
- Send it directly to grandparents, aunts and uncles.
