Revid for Zapier: Make AI videos from your Zaps
The Revid app for Zapier turns events in your other apps into finished short videos: a new blog post becomes a captioned video, a new spreadsheet row becomes a product ad, a new podcast episode becomes clips. Then Zapier posts them or sends them on.
39,000+ videos made through the Revid API, MCP and CLI since October 2025 (Revid analytics, checked October 22, 2026).
What the Revid Zapier app does

Set it up in 2 minutes
- In Zapier, create a Zap and pick Revid as the action app (or as the trigger, with New Video).
- In Revid, open Account and copy your API key (the API needs an active Revid plan).
- Paste the key when Zapier asks you to connect your Revid account.
- Pick an action, for example Create Video From Article, and map the fields from your trigger.
Your API key is on your account page. Every paid plan includes API access; see pricing.
How the finished video comes back
Video actions have a Wait for the Video option, on by default: the Zap pauses until Revid calls back with the finished video (usually 2 to 10 minutes), so the next steps get its Video URL. Turn it off to go on at once with the project ID.
Frequently asked questions
Is the Revid Zapier integration free?
The Zapier app is free to add. Videos use your Revid credits like the app does, and the Revid API needs an active Revid plan. Zapier counts each Revid step as a task on your Zapier plan.
How long does a Revid video take in a Zap?
Most videos render in 2 to 10 minutes, depending on length and on the visuals (stock footage is fastest, AI video clips slowest). With Wait for the Video on, the Zap resumes by itself when the video is ready.
Can Zapier post Revid videos to TikTok, YouTube and Instagram?
Yes. Connect your social accounts once in Revid, then use Publish Video or Schedule Video Post in the Zap. You can also send the video URL to any other Zapier app.
Building something custom? The same features are in the Revid API, the Revid MCP server for AI agents and the Revid CLI.
