Most of the club earned nothing from TikTok directly

Only videos of a minute or more qualify for the Creator Rewards Program. 27% of the club qualifies; the qualifying videos would have earned at least $4.6M at the low end of the reported RPM band. The rest converted views into followers, brand deals and sound licensing, not payouts.

Methodology

  • Source: the Revid TikTok index (2.4M public videos, collected continuously since January 2026 from hashtag and keyword searches and watched channels). Counts are the public numbers at indexing time; videos keep growing afterwards, so a recent entry may rank higher today than shown.
  • Inclusion: more than 100,000,000 plays, a public link and a username, and not matching our adult-content filter. 1,588 videos qualify on views; 1,194 are listed.
  • Mood, content type, camera style, perspective and setting come from a vision model reading frames of each video. They are labels, not ground truth, and some videos carry none.
  • Ad value = plays ÷ 1,000 × $10 (an average TikTok in-feed CPM). Creator Rewards estimate = plays ÷ 1,000 × $0.40 to $1.00, only for videos of 60 seconds or more; it assumes every view qualified, which overstates the real payout.
  • "Why it worked" badges compare each video's like, share and comment rates to the rest of the club (percentiles), its length to the club median, and classify the first spoken sentence by shape. They are descriptive, not causal.

Data pulled September 15, 2026. The index grows every day; numbers are refreshed on a schedule and the date above always tells you which snapshot you are reading.

FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the most viewed TikTok video of all time?
In the Revid index the most viewed TikTok is a 18s storytelling video by @zachking with 2.1B plays, 25.5M likes and 1.1M shares. TikTok does not publish an official all-time ranking, so this is the largest count among the 1,194 videos over 100M views that we index.
How many TikToks have over 100 million views?
1,588 videos in our 2.4M-video index have passed 100 million plays. 1,194 of them are listed here (the rest failed our content filter or lack a public link). TikTok itself does not publish this number.
How much money does a 100 million view TikTok make?
It depends on length. Only videos of 60 seconds or more qualify for the Creator Rewards Program, which public reports put at roughly $0.40 to $1.00 per 1,000 qualified views, so a qualifying 100M-view video is worth about $40k–$100k in rewards. 73% of the club is under a minute and earned nothing directly. In ad value, 100M views would cost about $1M to buy at a $10 CPM.
How is the ad value calculated?
Ad value (earned media value) is what the same number of views would cost as TikTok in-feed ads at an average $10 CPM. It is a media-planning benchmark, not money the creator received.
Where does the data come from?
From the Revid index of public TikToks, collected continuously since January 2026. View, like, share and comment counts are the public numbers at the time of indexing, so recent videos keep growing after we captured them. Mood, style and content type were tagged by a vision model from video frames.
