LoreMotion (loremotion.com) is a free AI video generator built around three promises: no watermark, no sign-up for your first clip, and no required monthly plan. You type a prompt or upload an image and it renders a short MP4 with synced audio. The free tier runs on open models that LoreMotion hosts on its own GPUs and is paid for by ads; the premium models, Google Veo 3.1, xAI Grok 3 and Kling, run on credits.
It is a clip generator, not a video maker. If you want a finished, captioned video with a voice-over that you can post, you will still need something else, which is where the comparison further down comes in.
What is LoreMotion AI?
LoreMotion is a browser tool for text-to-video and image-to-video generation. Its home page lists 720p MP4 output with synced audio, four aspect ratios (16:9, 9:16, 1:1, 4:3), clip lengths of 3, 5 or 8 seconds, an AI Enhance button that rewrites your prompt, and no watermark at any tier. It also says you own what you generate and can use it commercially.
In image-to-video mode, your image becomes the first frame and the model animates forward from it. A free account keeps your videos in a personal library for 48 hours, and a public Discover feed shows clips that users chose to share (videos are private by default).
Is LoreMotion free? What the plans cost
According to LoreMotion's pricing page in October 2026:
- Free: unlimited LTX-Video 2.5 and MiniMax H3 clips, no watermark, ad-supported, plus 7 welcome credits (enough for one Veo 3.1 clip).
- Starter, $5/month: 600 credits/month for premium models (LoreMotion quotes about 100 Veo 3.1 or 50 Grok Lower clips).
- Pro, $10/month: 1,400 credits/month, all premium models.
- Max, $14.99/month: 2,200 credits/month for heavy use.
- Clean, $9.99/month removes the ads; Executive, $19.99/month adds a priority queue. Credit plans alone do not remove ads.
- Credit costs: Veo 3.1 Fast or Lite is 6 credits a clip; Grok 3 ranges from 23 to 297 credits depending on resolution and length; Kling is billed per second.
LoreMotion limits to know before you rely on it
The free tier is genuinely useful for quick clips, but keep these in mind:
- Free clips top out at 8 seconds (LTX-Video 2.5, 720p) or 5 seconds (MiniMax H3, 480p). A 30 to 60 second short means generating and stitching several clips yourself.
- Its feature list does not include voice-over, captions, a music bed or a timeline editor: you get the raw clip.
- There is no publishing or scheduling to TikTok, YouTube or Instagram; you download the MP4.
- Every free video comes with a short pre-roll ad, and render times depend on the queue.
- Free videos stay in your library for 48 hours, so download what you want to keep.

When LoreMotion is the right choice
You want a quick, free, watermark-free clip to test a prompt, make a meme or grab B-roll, and you do not mind a pre-roll ad or an 8-second cap. It is also a cheap way to try Veo 3.1 output: at 6 credits a clip, the $5 Starter plan covers about 100 of them.
